Trying out a new brush in Photoshop, as well as a different coloring style. I'm really tired of my super-bright, plastic coloring style and am trying to find something that looks more "earthy" and subtle........so, here's one experiment. :) Just a simple picture of everyone's favorite intergalactic queen.

Well, is you're looking to make it less...like before, I guess you should try using a textured brush next to make it not so smooth and plastic-looking.

Hey, this was my favorite of those Amidala sketches. ^^ It looks really nice in color. Yeah, I understand the whole trying different techniques thing... I find experimenting really fun, actually. I like this coloring style for a change, I think. It's not drastically different from your other work, but the difference still shows. Sometimes if I want a change, I look around at other people's stuff I like and try to put my twist on that coloring style. It makes for a fun challenge.
