This is Day with his stallion yearling, a horse given to him as a gift when he visits the country Amaedra. Being a nation that specializes in breeding champion horses, as well as having their culture's games/recreations/worship heavily based around the horse, Amaedrans like to call their horses "Amaedra's gold." I've obviously never drawn many horses before, as you can see, but I tried to make its appearance look like that of purebred Arabian horses (which are, quite frankly, the most beautiful horses in the woooooorld). O_O I.e. Very tapered nose, arched neck (although I suppose you can't see much of that), deep eyes, dark fur/skin around muzzle and eyes. I actually was sidetracked for a good hour browsing through photos of Arabian horses. :]
