I realized recently that, although I do quite a few pictures of characters with wings (i.e. butterfly wings, pixie wings, silk(?)....wings....).........I'm shocked I don't have a picture with good old fashioned feathery wings. So evolved this. Because I was in a very wingy mood.
Her name is Tessia Dante, and she is one of three protagonists from my current novel-in-progress Storms in Utopia. (For those who have read The Glass Sonata on my site, this book will be a prequel). Anyway, the story stars 3 siblings who are all child prodigies: two brothers, and their younger sister--Tess here. The three of them were once very close as children, but a catastrophe in their youth forced them apart and has estranged them. Her brothers have earned fame as prodigies of war and magic, but Tess has become famous for her incredible aim and quicksilver memory. She is the heiress to her nation's First Chaplain (her world's Pope, if you will), and as a 15 year old, has proven herself more well-versed in religious texts than anyone in the Church. However, she is also extremely mischievous and often gets into trouble for skipping prayers and failing to show up at certain important ceremonies. While many in the Church want her to be the future First Chaplain, there are also many who are resentful of her genius, complaining that her naughty nature is unfit for such a position in the Church.
So anyway, she doesn't literally have wings........they were put in to be largely symbolic of her position as a messenger for the heavens. The outfit isn't really accurate of her culture, either, but I kind of liked those weird curvy spiky things on her head.
I love that image, I would say its good but you already know that (its very obvious).I wish i knew how to make images that good, but im to new to know how haha. But again good image .
