Take her away from this world of gold
for this child's wings grow heavy
and her heart has turned from young to old
and oh, my child, how weary

you have become.


A symbolic picture of Tess, one of the three protagonists of my current in-progress manuscript Storms in Utopia. She has short hair in the first book, but grows it out in the later 2 books. I'm still experimenting with that new coloring style I was using in the last picture I drew....I think I'm starting to like this more subtle style. Need to practice it more, though. :(
