Ack, sorry for my absence--in case you couldn't tell, sometimes I get really sucky about updating things. Anyway. A quick little post about all the things! (There are a ton of updates that I WANT to talk about, btw, but I can't just yet, so I'll just have to stuff my mouth with cotton and wait. :)  )

I just got back last week from the Bologna Book Fair in Italy. Lots of fun. Lots of DELICIOUS FOOD. Lots of awesome foreign publishers. If you live in Europe and have read/liked Legend, I may be coming to a European country near you this fall! More news to come....

Oddly enough, one of the food highlights from Bologna was a homemade Greek yogurt I bought at a tiny food shop in a little local market. OMG. BEST GREEK YOGURT I'VE EVER HAD.

If you saw The Hunger Games this past weekend, maybe a few of you also caught a glimpse of a Legend trailer that showed before the previews! Also, Hunger Games movie. Two thumbs up. Jennifer Lawrence, you are too awesome.

I also have finally finished up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and am about a third of the way through Revelations. Gotta say, I still prefer Brotherhood. Revelations is great and all (and Older Ezio is pretty cool with that hookblade), but I am really NOT feeling the Tower Defense side missions. That aside, still enjoying myself. I am dying for ACIII. Dying, I tell you.

Book recommendations! I haven't done these in a while. Last night I just finished up a novella by Sarah J. Maas called The Assassin and the Desert. IT IS SO GOOD. Read it (and read the first novella too, which is called The Assassin and the Pirate Lord). They're on Kindle. Another amazing book is Ready Player One, by Ernest Cline. Seriously, you cannot call yourself a legitimate nerd until you read this book.

And that's about it for now. Hope you're all doing great! Lemme know in the comments.
  • Listening to: TRON: Legacy soundtrack
  • Reading: The Assassin and the Desert - Sarah J. Maas
  • Watching: Legend of Korra
  • Playing: Assassin's Creed: Revelations
  • Eating: salad
  • Drinking: Always agua

With all these US-collapsing and post-apocalyptic movies and books coming out, it makes me want to write one of my own...

I love yogurt but I've never had Greek yogurt before. I must try some!
I just recently finished Legend and I loved it! I CANNOT wait to see what happens next!! :eager:
Also, I went to Costco last week and they had a bunch of Legend books on sale next to all The Hunger Games books! :D Oh, and I also saw The Hunger Games movie and I thought it was really good, but there are some differences that bug me though xD

Listening to TRON Leacy soundtrack, watching Legend of Korra, playing AC:R and already read Ready Player One, I think you have successfully become a legitimate nerd =B

Did you have gelatto in Italy? =D

I also didn't get to see the Legend trailer... not sure if they skipped it entirely for smalltown USA or what. I was in there as soon as they opened the theater for seating though. Anyway I still love Legend and I bought a second copy to loan out to some friends and some of them bought their own copies to add to their shelves as well :)

I vacationed in Bologna a few years back - hope you liked it as much as I did and got some downtime to enjoy the experience!

Eeee!! My sister and I went to the midnight showing of The Hunger Games. I was very very very pleasantly surprised - it was one of the few books that I felt translated decently as a movie. Yeah, I was a little disappointed at some of the changes, but overall, I felt it was incredibly well-done and as true to the book as I had hoped.

We didn't see the Legend trailer, but I'mma do some pokin' and look around...I want to see this SO bad. :D Any idea for casting yet? ;)

Saw Hunger Games but sadly never saw the Legend trailer. The actors in the movie were great but the camera's shaking kinda bugged me. Also the fact that Katniss takes a cut to the forehead and hardly shows any blood from it. Head wounds bleed. I understand them trying to keep it from hitting R but I just wished they kept some of it not so obviously fake in the injuries and just cut them out, like Peeta losing his leg.

I'll have to check out your book recommendations when I get some free time.

I went to see the Hunger Games and my friends laughed at me for being more excited for the pre-movie than for the movie, unfortuantely, I never got to see it. Should have been in the theatres earlier!
I just had my first taste of Greek Yogurt a couple weeks ago when my sister bought us a full container - it IS really good!
I've never played Assassin's Cred, but you make me really want to try it out now! And to read all those books! It's a big pile I'm starting to build up in my 'to read' list XD.

I wish you'd come to visit Canada too, but that's okay - I'm glad to hear you're doing well!
