A little bit of everythingAck, sorry for my absence--in case you couldn't tell, sometimes I get really sucky about updating things. Anyway. A quick little post about all the things! (There are a ton of updates that I WANT to talk about, btw, but I can't just yet, so I'll just have to stuff my mouth with cotton and wait.

I just got back last week from the Bologna Book Fair in Italy. Lots of fun. Lots of DELICIOUS FOOD. Lots of awesome foreign publishers. If you live in Europe and have read/liked Legend, I may be coming to a European country near you this fall! More news to come....
Oddly enough, one of the food highlights from Bologna was a homemade Greek yogurt I bought at a tiny food shop in a little local market. OMG. BEST GREEK YOGURT I'VE EVER HAD.
If you saw The Hunger Games this past weekend, maybe a few of you also caught a glimpse of a Legend trailer that showed before the previews! Also, Hunger Games movie. Two thumbs up. Jennifer Lawrence, you are too awesome.

Legend's Japanese cover, & BEA in NYCFirst of all, let me explain my love for the Japanese cover of Legend. Legend just came out in Japan, and the cover for its edition is below:
Um. Oh My God. The artist for this cover is the great Tatsuyuki Tanaka-san, the artist behind the Akira anime film. Yes, THAT Akira. And I am so in love.

He even added in the red streak of blood in Day's hair! Mr. Tanaka-san, you are amaaaaaazing. Thank you!
And secondly, the promotion for Prodigy (Legend #2) is officially starting. I'm off to New York City on Sunday to attend BookExpo America, where my publisher Penguin will be giving away the first advance reader copies (ARCs) of Prodigy. I'll also be giving at least one away soon on this blog, so stay tuned if you're interested! And if you're in NYC and/or at BEA, I'll be at two events that involve signings:

"Legend" movie update from MTVWhew, I've been in three different time zones in the past 9 days and I am soooo out of it. O__O But BEA in New York was incredibly fun--thank you to everyone who turned out, and hope those who received advance copies of Prodigy (Legend #2) enjoy it!

The World Ends With You.(This is going to be a longer and somewhat heavier post than usual, so if you're just in the mood for silly comics and the like, skip on ahead to the end.

Firstly, "The World Ends With You" is an AMAZING game. If you haven't had the chance to play it yet, I highly recommend you pick it up, especially if you're planning on playing "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" when it launches next month. I seriously can't express how much I'm looking forward to seeing the "TWEWY" cast again
