Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Happy 2012, deviants!!!

*confetti* Hope you all had a safe, happy, and food-filled holiday season, and thank you all SOOOO much for all of your very kind notes and support! Here's to a wonderful 2012 to all you guys. The Mayans clearly thought this would be a pretty epic year....and those Mayans were clever ones.

Also, thank you SO MUCH to those who have picked up a copy of Legend already! Seriously, words cannot express how thankful I am.

If you enjoyed the book, please help me spread the word to your friends! The first couple of months in sales are so critical to a book's success....thank you so much in advance!

In more fun news, I am going on tour in February for Legend, and hopefully coming to a city near you! What's even better, I'll be going with a bunch of other amazing Penguin authors, and it's going to be the coolest shindig since sliced bread's launch party. Details soon!

And lastly, there is a very, VERY cool Legend announcement I hope to make public in the next week or so. I can hardly contain my excitement for this one because it's very close to my heart. You'll understand when you hear about it.

I bought a copy of Legend just like I told you before and I have just a few things to say. One; it was completely and totally amazing. The only book that I've run across that has color in it. Two: Its too short and I want the new one to come out already! Good work, and I am glad its doing so well. Keep up the good work and happy new year!

Finished Legend last week...was catatonic until a few hours ago. ^^ Spectacular, hun. Definitely looking forward to reading book 2...although like the infamous Inigo Montoya, "I hate waiting."
