After reading what happened, I'm about 99% sure that it was just one person that made the decision seriously man I've always ordered from Amazon, and they've never had anything against gay stuff before this have they? It was probably just some homophobe who got in the system without them noticing until people started complaining Plus, something like this would hurt their sales, so why would the company want it to happen?
wait never mind I just read a news article on it and it seems that more than a random person did this
so yeah I think it's pretty f'ed up, filtering it like that just because of homosexual content is flat out censorship, and online?! There's no point in that. but so long as they fix it, I won't care.
Also, it still might have been just one or a few people up high in Amazon's ranks that made the decision, and they are definitely paying the price now, so that's all the punishment the site needs IMO.
It's not going to prevent anything socially. It was either an honest terribly controversal mistake, or someone just being an ass. Either way, there's no harm done, only more gossip.
There's nothing wrong. It was a glitch that they had no control over. Why is everyone condemning them for something people are working overtime to fix? Because it affected Gay and Lesbian books? So? It affected a LOT of books. The point is that they're changing it back. They're guilty of nothing more than human error.
I wont lie: IM a lesbian and I cant even manage to be mad at amazon! I mean...I get EVERYTHING off of there so indial, Im going to say it was an innosent mistake
